He was born in 1543 in Travisto, England. He was an explorer, slave merchant, politician and vice admiral of England. He directed plenty of expeditions with The English Marine to Spain and India. He attacked Cadiz ¡n 1587 and also, he directed the attack to Coruña, that he failed.
In an age that Spain and England were in war, he was considered a pirate in Spain and a hero in England.
The Queen Elisabeth I made him knight in reward for his services to England.
He was married two times. In 1596 he died at the age of 53 in Portobello, the actual Panamá.
